Hello friends,

here is the news.

Upcoming Show

I’m playing Sunday, March 24th at the World Famous in Athens, GA with Sun Studies (Durham, NC), Joshua Carpenter (Asheville, NC), and Doom Ribbons (Athens, GA).

Learn more at the event pages on Songkick or Facebook. Hope to see you.

Recent Publication

I co-wrote an article that got published in the Journal of New Librarianship earlier this month. It’s called “Theorizing scholarship as craft pride in the LIS field,” and I hope you like it.

A Song

I got to play a show with Chris Brokaw a few months ago, and I’ve had “Into the Woods” playing on repeat ever since. Here’s the album version on Spotify and the live version on KEXP.

A Poem

I hadn’t heard of Joan Murray before I stumbled on this poem last year, one called “The hour like a child runs down the angle of star and rests at the bottom.” It’s since been taken down from the Poetry Foundation website, but I’m pleased to say that, by using some archival internet sorcery, the link to the poem I’m sending you is sound.

A Place

I recently visited Knoxville, TN for The Library Collective unconference, and I left feeling so invigorated and inspired. Super grateful for all the kind, thoughtful, and open folks I met up there. Notes and materials from conference sessions are posted on their website.

love + thanks,

Lydia
